Vaastav The Reality is a 2015 Indian Hindi-language thriller film, directed by Vishal Pandya and produced by Anil Kapoor. It stars Abhishek Bachchan, Bobby Deol, Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles. It is a remake of the 2013 Bengali film of same name directed by Raj Chakraborty and produced by Prosenjit Chatterjee. Vaastav The Reality ia an Indian thriller movie based on the story of four friends who decide to do some corporate espionage for New York’s most powerful businessman when their lives start to implode under various circumstances. The movie begins with Abhishek Bachchan called Vaastav, Bobby Deol called Pari, Saif Ali Khan called Gaurav and Deepika Padukone called Aish acting in a corporate espionage video. The movie then shifts to a castle in Kerala where a mysterious businessman is shown levitating and talking to someone under his breath. He then talks about "Reality" where he says he has been searching for it all his life, wants it so badly that he's been forcing others around him to find. He wants them to find it for him because they have the power of thought, can think much smarter than anyone else in the world by thinking through the layers of reality. He wants the four of them to find him, but he won't allow anything to happen to them. As soon as the four leave the castle, they are stopped by their college teacher (Sumit) who is also secretly working for him. He is very excited about the mysterious businessman and tells them that it seems like this mysterious businessman plans to stay at his castle - that he may be there for some time. However, the students are told not to speak about it… The next day, Gaurav gets a call from his assistant (who also works for the mysterious businessman behind the scenes) saying that everything is going as planned. Gaurav is the only one who doesn’t know what she is talking about. He goes to his father to find out what's going on. His father tells him that he suspects the businessman of being the man who killed Gaurav's mother, but can't prove it, and has been working for him for years (he also tells Gaurav that he hasn't seen Abhishek or Aish or Pari after they left college). Gaurav decides to leave it all behind and move away with his girlfriend (not knowing that the assistant has told the mysterious businessman about this). However, the mysterious businessman tells his henchmen that he has one week to find Gaurav. Abhishek Bachchan (Vaastav), Pari (Pari), Saif Ali Khan (Gaurav) and Deepika Padukone (Aish) are now living their lives as regular college students.
